  7. The purpose of this conference is ultimately to provide a vehicle
  8. for the seeking of Biblical Truth, and truth about the Bible.
  9. This is an open forum for debate relating EXCLUSIVELY to the Holy
  10. Bible, it's history and culture.  This includes investigating the
  11. credentials of, and methods used by, scholars who interpret
  12. related Biblical matters (history, language, archeology, etc.)
  13.  
  14. PROHIBITED for All Participants

  16. o  Claims/topics regarding religious organizations or religious
  17.    practices/tenants, that are not related to, or are not derived
  18.    directly from, the Bible.  THIS IS NOT A COMPARATIVE RELIGIONS
  19.    CONFERENCE!  This is an essential and central doctrine of the
  20.    policy for this conference.
  21. o  Off-topic posts.
  22. o  Responses to messages violating this written policy.
  23. o  Unsupported and/or unverifyable opinions/viewpoints/arguments.
  24. o  Cut and paste commentaries.
  25. o  Reprimands of another participant's behavior.
  26. o  Grievances.
  27. o  Offers to supply, or requests for, information via ground/air
  28.    mail or modem.
  29. o  Posts containing your personal or work address, or phone
  30.    number.
  31. o  Swearing of any kind (implied or otherwise).
  32. o  Taglines or messages intended to goad/demean.
  33. o  Prayers of any type.
  34. o  Handles.  Real names only please.

  38. Determinations Regarding Flaming

  40. In keeping with FidoNet Echo Policies, the following is used as a
  41. guideline to determine if "flaming" is being practiced:

  43. o  If you accuse someone of being "biased", "biggotted", or
  44.    otherwise dishonest in their study, YOU MUST give evidence of
  45.    such or your accusations will be interpreted by the Moderator
  46.    as slander without evidence (which is not permitted).
  47. o  If you are accused of being "biased", "bigotted", or otherwise
  48.    dishonest in your study, and evidence is provided by the
  49.    accuser, YOU MUST face the challenge and prove otherwise.  You
  50.    are on your own in this.  If this makes you uncomfortable, DO
  51.    NOT POST YOUR GRIEVANCE IN THE ECHO, but rather answer the
  52.    accusation as best you can with your evidences.
  53. o  If both the above cases are followed through by the
  54.    participants, the Moderator will not intervene.  The readers
  55.    are left to their own conclusions.
